We love doing Maths. Here we are learning the Te Reo names for cities and places in New Zealand. We had to add and subtract with dominoes to get around New Zealand and we had to say the place names in Te Reo.
This is our Room 14 class this year. Most of us are Year 3 children but six of us are Year 2's. We are a great class and we have settled in really well.
We have really enjoyed learning how to measure with a ruler and have been learning the difference between centimetres and metres. In these photos it shows us having fun learning to measure accurately. We are measuring various things like our feet, our hand spans, and the length of our arms etc.
It has been great fun going swimming most days for the past six weeks. We have been in different groups learning skills and learning to be more confident in the water. We really enjoyed learning different ways to survive in the water and how to rescue someone who is in difficulty in the water. Here are some photos of us learning how to rescue someone.
